CHADD
Children and Adults with Attention
Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
Fort Bend County CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention
Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is affiliated with the national organization.
CHADD provides 3 support groups for those impacted by ADHD. We serve to educate
those who work with children in school and family settings in addition to adult
issues relating to work and interpersonal relationships. CHADD is the only ADHD
organization with a government liaison in Washington, DC. We strive to
disseminate information regarding the most effective and current treatments
available for ADHD. CHADD's web address is

A Singing
Invitation
Houston Horizon Chorus, an award-winning performing and competing
women’s chorus, is hosting Harmony College! If you like to sing, you are invited
to a 4-week series of classes which include free vocal lessons with a Master
Director and the thrilling experience of singing 4-part harmony a Cappella with
over 100 ladies. All that is required is the ability to carry a tune and the
desire to learn more about singing and performing. The ability to read music is
helpful, but not required.
The chorus is comprised of women of all ages, from 16-86, and sizes. There are
doctors, nurses, teachers, accountants, veterinarians, pharmacists, housewives
and retirees. You say you haven’t sung in years? Or you only sing in the shower
or the car? That’s how many of these ladies started! So do something for you in
the New Year an why not bring a friend?
There’s a whole new world of music and fun waiting for you!
Classes start on Tuesday, January 11th, and run for
4 consecutive Tuesdays. Rehearsals are held at Liberty Revival Church, 16200
State Hwy 249, located on the northbound feeder of SH 249 just ½ mile north of
Beltway 8. Rehearsals are from 7-10 PM. For additional information, call Sally
