Cookbook

Taste of Brightwater II

After the resounding success of their first cookbook, the Brightwater Garden Club has compiled a second cookbook -- Taste of Brightwater II.

The book is filled with more than
600 mouthwatering recipes supplied by local residents and their family and friends, plus contributions from Missouri City elected officials, including Mayor Allen Owen.

The recipes fringe from down home favorites to international cuisine.

Proceeds from the cookbooks will be used to support the community service programs adopted by the club, including the Fort Bend Women's Shelter and upkeep of the Lexington Creek Elementary Butterfly Garden.

The cookbooks cost $15 and may be purchased by calling 281-403-9672, 281-403-9269, or 281-261-5517.

Books will also be available at the Brightwater Garden Club monthly meetings.
